Westbound loaded Redrock coal train broke down at Lang KS 5miles northeast of Emporia on the Topeka sub. We beat the BNSF responder and AAA Limo yard taxi there and gave the conductor a ride to the DPUs and back to the busted knuckle with another knuckle. We got to see the inside of the locos. I got to go up a real SP unit for the first time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In this day in age you'd think it was a hallucination. |
