Westbound empty Lawrence/Tecumseh coal train. I was blessed to catch it in daylight under perfect lighting with camera in hand. I've been trying for yrs to catch this train with SD70MAC's in my viewfinder with good lighting. This train mainly runs in the dark most the year. Loads from KC to Lawrence and Tecumseh now. The empties come to emporia but the locos are ran around to the back and pull the train back to KCK instead of Pueblo CO. |
